‘Ship my Pants’ ad creator gets promotion

CHICAGO, Ill. (WGN-TV) — The man behind Kmart’s “Ship My Pants” ad that went viral has been promoted.

Jon Flannery, who was a creative director at Draftfcb in Chicago, is now executive creative director after boosting Kmart’s image with the commercial.

The online ad shows people talking about ‘shipping their pants.’

The spot talks about how if you can’t find what you are looking for in the store you find it online and have it sent to your home for free.

The ad was originally meant to be a viral video, and it now has more than 15.7 million views.
