RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Police released a picture of a woman they called a “person of interest” in a recent rash of thefts at a Richmond mall. Police said since mid-April, thieves have taken 11 pairs of sunglasses from stores at Stony Point Fashion Park in South Richmond.

Police said on Thursday, April 11 a woman put six pairs of sunglasses from the Sunglasses Hut in her purse and walked off. One week later, police said, two women stole five pairs of sunglasses from Solstice Sunglasses.

Police described the thieves as women in their late 20s to early 30s and asked anyone with information to call Detective Charles Kane at (804) 646-1069 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 780-1000.
