King William high threat

KING WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — A death threat at an area high school caused many students to stay home Monday.

This message was discovered last week on the wall of a boy’s bathroom at King William High School.

It read, “I will kill everyone,” and had Monday’s date etched next to the drawing.

School Superintendent Mark Jones said there was a high number of absences Monday and that the district is working with students who opted to stay home.

Security at the school was also ramped up as school leaders search for the person who wrote the message.
