Another shift in the jet stream will allow another dome of warm air to move across the country by the middle of the week. Although this past weekend was cooler than the record-breaking warmth of last week, high temperatures were still above the normal of 70°.
Clouds and the threat of some showers will keep temperatures down slightly Monday, but the warming trend begins Tuesday with highs in the upper 70s to around 80°. Highs will jump into the low and mid 80s for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
A cold front will pass through Friday evening, allowing cooler temperatures to return next weekend. Highs will be mostly in the 60s.
