HENRICO COUNTY, Va (WTVR)- The victim of a late-night robbery tells me it all happened so fast, she didn't have time to think.  But police say she did the right thing by giving up the cash, even if it was just ten bucks.

With your help, police are hoping to lock up the thugs responsible for a long time, after they robbed the retired restaurant worker at gun point at the ATM drive-thru on Villa Park Drive.

“I was there for a second getting my money together and all the sudden they popped up and said give me your bleeping money."

The victim says she was so terrified she almost blacked out behind the wheel, but she was able to look up and see the suspects run towards townhomes at the end of the adjacent dirt road.

“It's wrecked my nerves, making me not want to go places at night," she said.

The victim says she knows it wasn't smart to be at the ATM at midnight but she had just balanced her checkbook and realized she needed to deposit more cash to cover a check she'd written.

Both suspects had their faces covered--startling the victim by approaching her driver’s side window.  "I said you can have the  money and threw it out the window,” she said.  “It was just singles, I saw them picking it up."

Ten bucks, that's what the victim says the two got.  Hardly a heist to brag about.

"Just gotta’ be careful and not go to the ATM that late.  It's rough out here," she said.

It's hard to see their faces, but police say if you know anyone that looks like the two with the style of clothing in their wardrobe, to call Crimestoppers at 780-1000.
