CHESTER, Va. (WTVR)–An organization in Chester is offering free food to the community on Thursday.

Word, Spirit & Life Ministries will receive a large tractor-trailer full of USDA products that they will distribute at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Sonja Doles-Branch, with the ministry, said that usually 200-300 families show up for these trucks.

The address is 3600 North Street in Chester.

Because the group works in connection with the Central Virginia Food Bank, all food is absolutely free. Doles-Branch said tomorrow’s shipment would contain perishables, and include meat.
