Prince George crash leaves one person dead

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police are investigating a crash that resulted in a fatality.

Crews were called to the 10800 block of Timber Road around 12:15 a.m. where a Ford Explorer struck a tree.  Lieutenant Burrows with the Prince George County Police tells CBS 6 that one person died, while the two other occupants were med-flighted and life EVAC to MCV.

Prince George Emergency, Police and Fire Company 1, along with Disputanta Fire Company 2 and Carson Substation 3 were on scene.

Police plan to notify the victims’ families before releasing the names.

This incident is still under investigation.
