STAFFORD, Va. (WTVR) – The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects involved in the murder of the individual whose remains were found on a property along the 800 block of Belle Plains Road on March 21.

The Sheriff’s Office identified the remains as Jason Plaster, who was reported missing in July 2007.  He was 31 years old at the time.  Officials conducted a search trying to find Plaster in the years to come, but could not locate him.  They believe he died of gunshot wounds.

Authorities identified the suspects as 44-year-old William Joseph Hughes and 49-year-old Stuart Lee Sullivan.  Both were charged with one count of First Degree Murder and one count of the Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony.  They are being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

Another arrest was made on the property on March 21 after deputies busted a man accused of dealing meth.
