Police ID man found in burning truck

YORK COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — Authorities have released the name of a man found in a burning truck’s truck in York County Friday.

Lt. Dennis Ivey Jr, with the The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office, said in a news release late Friday that the victim is 56-year-old Austin Steven King from Virginia Beach.

Deputies discovered the burning truck around 12:15 a.m.Friday near the Williamsburg/Busch Gardens exit on Interstate 64. After putting out the fire, crews discovered King’s body inside the vehicle.
