Lil Wayne thanks fans for prayers; says he’s ‘more than good’

(CNN) — A week after being hospitalized following a seizure, Lil Wayne‘s getting back to business.

The rapper created a video on Wednesday, the day following his release from Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, thanking his fans for their support.

“I just want to say thank you to all y’all for y’all prayers and concerns and all that,” he said in the brief clip, as obtained by TMZ. “I swear to God I felt that love when I was laid up in that m*****f****n’ hospital bed. I want all y’all to know that I’m good … more than good.”

Intermittently eating a red lollipop, the New Orleans artist also snuck in a few updates. For starters, his album, “I Am Not a Human Being II,” is still arriving March 26. (“You can go get that … if you want,” he said with a shrug. “If not, it’s whatever.”)

And then there’s also the matter of his upcoming tour, “America’s Most Wanted,” which he said he’ll conduct “with some of my closest friends in the game.”

“I’m more than good, but thank you to all y’all out there,” he said. “I’m more than good, I swear to God.”
