Police: Man busted for sex with 12-year-old after dad calls police

HENRICO, Va. (WTVR) – A 23-year-old Henrico man has been arrested on child sex charges.

Wayne Phillips is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old girl.

Police said Phillips had several sexual encounters with the girl that took place between September and December of 2012.

According to officers, the girl’s father learned about their relationship and called police.
