Local extras sought for new TV show

HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WTVR) – A new television show being shot in Hampton Roads is looking for several hundred extras who can work in late March and early April.

The casting director for Company Town is looking for men and women of all races and ages, including college and high school students.

The casting director also needs other specific roles filled, such as brass band and orchestra musicians, military personnel and hospital staff.

<em>Company Town</em> will air on the CW Network.

It is directed by Academy Award winning director Taylor Hackford. Hackford directed or produced An Officer and a Gentleman, Ray, The Devil’s Advocate, La Bamba, and White Nights.

An open casting call will take place this Saturday, March 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Paradise Ocean Club, 490 Fenwick Road, Fort Monroe, Virginia.

Those attending should bring a recent photo. Minors should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
