Henrico considers changing student grades

school grades

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Henrico County is considering changes to the way grades are handed out to students. The county is exploring three changes:

  1. Moving from a seven-point to a 10-point grading scale
  2. Changing how higher-level courses receive additional weighted credit
  3. Differentiating the amount of weighted credit for honors vs. advanced – level courses.

The county will conduct community surveys and hold two community forums next month to discuss the changes.
