Bald Eagle released, dedicated to Master Trooper J.A. Walker

The Wildlife Center of Virginia offered a very moving tribute to Master Trooper Junius A. Walker who was killed on March 7, during a traffic stop.

The next day, on March 8, Ed Clark, President and co-founder of the Wildlife Center of Virginia released a Bald Eagle back into the wild. The eagle was hit by a vehicle and had elevated lead levels in her blood.

When Clark brought her out of the transport carrier, the eagle ready to go, flying off to the north east as soon as she was released. The eagle circled a couple of times when another adult bald Eeagle came in to the area and circled with her.

She then flew off to the east-southeast direction.
