RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)--The mother of an Armstrong High School student says she's concerned for her daughter, whose picture appeared on a Facebook page that details the sexual activity of some students.

The teen was posted on the page wearing a bikini, but the mom says that she considers other pictures on the site to be pornographic, with girls half-dressed or naked.

Comments from some Armstrong students accompany the photos.

The teen featured in one picture says she doesn't understand why anyone would take the time to make a Facebook page like that, and be so hateful.

The mother says she believes the site was not only pornographic, but also a form of cyber-bullying.

She was so concerned; she contacted the schools and the police.

CBS 6 received a statement from Richmond Police saying they are investigating to see if any crime was committed.

Richmond Public Schools says they are also looking into the matter and are sending anti-bullying specialists to Armstrong and other high schools in the district to review and discuss the consequences and possible impact of cyber-bullying.

The Facebook page was taken down Friday morning.
