RICHMOND, VA (WTVR): Top Gospel Artists and Musicians will perform for thousands at the Greater Richmond Convention Center Saturday, March 9, noon -6pm for. Award Winning Artists Israel Houghton & New Breed, Charles Jenkins, Isaac Carree, Alvin Darling, Tye Tribbett and others will perform at Transformation Expo. Featuring motivational speakers, Radio One hosts Sheilah Belle and Clovia Lawrence and Pastors Roscoe Cooper and Lance Watson, there will be health screenings and over 70 booths with expert advice. FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) signature program of FRIST, an international non-profit that organizes robotics competition for kids K-12, encouraging them to get fired up about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Local team the “VikingBots” from Thomas Jefferson High School is competing for the 5th year, this 2013 team is made up of 60 percent female and 40 percent male with their theme “Back it up and dump it”.
