Hopewell police investigate shooting

HOPEWELL, Va. (WTVR) – Hopewell police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.

Sergeant Bayes with the Hopewell Police Department tells us officers responded to a call of shots fired and a disturbance in the 600 block of Davisville Place. A window in one of the nearby apartments had been shot out and shortly thereafter, two males arrived at John Randolph Medical Center with non life threatening gunshot injuries.

Both men were later transferred to the VCU Medical Center for further treatment.
