SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVR) - A Texas couple claims their love for a certain college football team lead police to believe they were dealing drugs.

Bonnie Jonas Boggioni, 65, said police in Tennessee pulled her over because of a sticker on the back of her car.

"A car from another jurisdiction called ahead to let us know you were coming and that we better check it out," she said the officer told her.

She says police mistook the Ohio State Buckeye sticker on the back of her car for a marijuana leaf.

"Then he said, 'well you need to take that off.' What in Tennessee? He said 'no, forever.'" she said.

Boggioni said police eventually let her go without a ticket.

"We were still kind of laughing until I got here and then I thought now that's - that's not right," she said.
