RICHMOND, Va. (RichmondBizSense.com) – A Short Pump pet food supplier is marking its territory in the West End.

Ginger’s Eatz & Treatz, a three-year-old natural pet food shop, this month opened its second store in Richmond at 8931 Patterson Ave.

Owner John Dickerson said that the expansion has been in the works for about a year and that he decided to move forward when a 1,700-square-foot space opened up near Richmond’s Alpha Dog Club, a dog rehab and workout facility.
