There could be a loophole when it comes to giving out that reward in the Christopher Dorner Case.

TMZ reports there were three rewards and several private citizens helped in cornering the accused cop killer, who was a former Los Angeles Police Department officer.

One of those rewards was announced by the mayor of Los Angeles and it’s for $1 million. It was for information leading to the capture and conviction of Dorner.

Since police believe Dorner is dead, after they had him surrounded in a California cabin Tuesday, there will be no conviction.

Authorities say Dorner launched a guerrilla war against the Los Angeles Police Department over what he considered his unfair dismissal in 2009.

He’s accused of killing four people and wounding three other police officers since February 3.
