Richmond hit-and-run victim dies from injuries

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)–The victim from Saturday morning’s hit and run on Hull Street has died, Richmond Police said.

At approximately 2:18 a.m. Saturday morning, police responded to the 3000 block of Hull Street and found Larry Seward, 45, of the 4200 block of Sheffield Road, in the right travel lane of the road after being hit by a vehicle.

Seward was crossing the roadway when a vehicle traveling eastbound struck him before leaving the scene. He was transported to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Police said he succumbed to his injuries today.

The investigation continues.
