Chesterfield fire crews respond to elementary school fire

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WTVR) - Chesterfield fire crews responded to a fire at an elementary school Saturday morning just after 10 a.m.

There were reports of flames coming from an outdoor trailer at Enon Elementary School located in the 2000 block of East Hundred Road. Lt. Elmore tells us there was minor damage and no injuries were reported.

We are told the fire was caused by a heating unit located near the ceiling of the trailer. Lt. Elmore tells us it took about 15 minutes to mark the fire under control.
