Richmond, VA (WTVR) – Super Bowl Sunday is almost here. Millions of people are expected to watch the championship game, including Governor Bob McDonnell.

The Governor is a Washington Redskins fan. Because of that, McDonnell says he won’t root for Baltimore. He doesn’t plan to root for San Francisco either because the city is too far away from Virginia.

Governor McDonnell also says he’s surprised that the Ravens and 49’ers are playing in the Super Bowl. He thought the game would feature the Atlanta Falcons versus the New England Patriots.

Remember, you can watch the Super Bowl right here on CBS 6 on Sunday.
