RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 10:00 p.m. for western and southwestern Virginia ahead of a squall line of rapidly moving severe thunderstorms.
This squall line will continue to advance eastward tonight, arriving in the Richmond metro area around 1:00 a.m.
A severe thunderstorm watch will likely be issued for these areas later tonight.
