Ann Rabson of Saffire women’s blues trio dies

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (WTVR)–The co-founder  pianist and vocalist of Saffire—The Uppity Blues Women died Wednesday after a battle with cancer.

Anne Rabson was 67.  In 1984 she co-founded the internationally known group Saffire, that was based out of Fredericksburg. The group frequently played for sold-out crowds in Richmond.
