RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Helen Dragas has been approved for a second term on the University of Virginia’s Board of Visitors.

The House of Delegates confirmed Dragas as the University of Virginia’s rector Tuesday, in a 63 to 33 vote.

Dragas came under fire last year, after the university’s Board of Visitors ousted UVA president Teresa Sullivan, who was later reinstated.

The full senate had already voted in favor of her re-nomination.
