Police respond to two overnight robberies

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Richmond Police responded to two robberies that happened overnight.

One robbery happened at 8:38 Friday night on Jeff Davis Highway. 

Police say two people were robbed at gunpoint waiting to meet someone from Facebook.  Their car keys and cell phones were reported stolen.

Officials have identified two suspects.

Another robbery occurred at 2:30 early Saturday morning at the 3300 block of Washington Street.

Authorities say two males had their iPhones stolen.  Four males have been identified as suspects.
