HOPEWELL, Va. (WTVR) – Police are investigating an early-morning accident that killed a Hopewell man.

Police said they found Luis Cintron’s damaged Jeep Wrangler in the woods off Moultrie Avenue near Danville Street around 1:15 Thursday morning. Police said the 53-year-old man was inside the Jeep and unresponsive when officers arrived.

An early investigation has determined road conditions were not a factor in the crash, according to police.

Anyone who can help the investigation is asked to call Hopewell Police at (804) 541-2222.
