Great White shark dips into Virginia waters
East Coast (WTVR) – A great white shark has dipped into Virginia waters. The shark named Mary Lee has traveled up the east coast towards Hampton Roads.
She was tagged in September, in Cape Cod, and her path has been tracked ever since. She was last recently tracked near Ocracoke Island in North Carolina’s Outer Banks.
She’s 16-feet long and weighs about 3,500 pounds.
