RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) – Crews are scheduled to work along the Huguenot Bridge again this week. You will see delays of up to 15 minutes on either side of the bridge due to crews stopping traffic. They will be pouring concrete for the new bridge deck. This work continues through the week on Wednesday and Friday.
Today and Thursday crews will be at the Huguenot Bridge as well. However, delays are only expected to be about 5 minutes long. Flaggers will be directing dump trucks in and out of the travel lanes so please stay alert.
If you want to avoid the area you can always use these detours:
• Northbound Huguenot Road – Chippenham Parkway (Route 150) north over the Willey Bridge to River Road east to Huguenot Road or use Powhite Parkway (toll) east into Richmond
• Southbound Huguenot Road – River Road west to Chippenham Parkway (Route 150) south to Huguenot Road
