RICHMOND,  Va. (WTVR) - The first half of this work-week will be a wet one, with multiple rounds of rain tracking through central Virginia. By Wednesday afternoon, central Virginia will likely accumulate one to three inches of rain.

A cold front will sweep through the area Monday, passing Richmond around lunchtime.  Ahead of it, our first rounds of showers will track into central Virginia Monday morning. Your favorite accessory through Wednesday, in fact, will be your umbrella! Multiple rounds of rain will track through our region through Wednesday as moisture continues to be transported northeast over us from a series of upper-level disturbances (energy) riding over our region.
