NEW YORK, Ny. (WTVR) - Hordes of pantless commuters boarded subways in New York City Sunday.

The bottomless passengers were taking part in the annual "No Pants Subway Ride", created by a group called Improv Everywhere.

The group says it's all in good fun and started off as a prank. Since it's start 12 years ago, the event has grown, with thousands of commuters taking part each year.

People were encouraged to wear winter coats, gloves, and hats, and then act like they didn't know they weren't wearing pants.
