On Your Menu: Crab Cocktail Dip
(WTVR) – 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 pound of fresh lump crabmeat (picked clean for shells)
12 oz. jar cocktail sauce
Put cream cheese and 3/4lb of crabmeat in a bowl and mix by hand until well blended, trying to keep lumps intact. Keep cold until serving time.
Place crabmeat mixture in serving bowl and pour about half the jar of cocktail sauce over crabmeat-cream cheese mixture.
Top with remaining fresh crabmeat; serve with assorted crackers.
