PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) –  The Benjamin Harrison Bridge (Route 156/106) is closed due to damage from a vehicle crash, the Virginia Department of Transportation announced Friday afternoon. Bridge engineers are en route to inspect the damage, VDOT said.

VDOT encouraged Prince George drivers to Route 10 west to I-295 north to Route 5 east to reach Charles City County. They added Charles City County drivers should use Route 5 west to I-295 south to Route 10 east to reach Prince George County.
