RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – VCU basketball on CBS 6 was a ratings success.
The Rams win over the Dayton Flyers Wednesday night peaked at a 7.7 rating.
Between 8:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m, the VCU game was the highest-rated program on local network television according to Nielsen.
An estimated 50,000 Central Virginia households watched the Rams win.
VCU next plays on CBS 6 this Saturday versus St. Bonaventure.
That game is available on CBS 6.3, Comcast channel 206 and Verizon FiOS channel 466.
