Woman arrested after toddler dies from eating chili powder
APPLE VALLEY, Ca. (WTVR) — A woman has been charged with child abuse after a two-year-old girl died in her care.
The child began having seizures after she ingested chili powder, police say she was given the powder as a form of punishment.
The woman is in police custody and her bail is set at $500,000.
