Richmond, VA (WTVR) – Organizers have unveiled the winning T-shirt that will be handed out to runners participating in the 2013 Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k race, presented by Martin’s.
The winning T-shirt design is blue and features pictures of a runner, cheerleader, and a band member lining the historic buildings of Monument Avenue. It was designed by graphic artist Ashlee Snider.
Snider, who is a graduate of Longwood University, said she loves the events organized by Sportsbackers and checks their Facebook page often. That’s how she learned about the contest. Snider also used images online and stories from runners to come up with her winning design.
Snider won $1,000 for her winning design.
