Richmond police investigate overnight armed robberies

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Richmond police are investigating three armed robberies that occurred between the hours of 2 and 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

The first armed robbery occurred around 2:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of Hanover. Richmond police tell us the suspect is a black male, early 20s, around 6 feet tall.

The second armed robbery occurred around 2:45 a.m. in the 200 block of North 21st Street. There is no suspect information at this time.

Richmond police tell us the third armed robbery occurred around 3:50 a.m. in the 1600 block of Clarkson Road. We are told there are two suspects. The first suspect is described as a light skinned black male in his early 20s. There is no description for the second suspect at this time.

These armed robberies are not connected.

Police ask anyone with information regarding any of these incidents to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
