Top Ten Most Viewed Videos of 2012

Not all of our top ten most viewed videos were from Richmond or Central Virginia, although the number one most-viewed video comes out of the Roanoke area. Take a look at the big hits. Tell us in the comment which one was your favorite, or what you think is missing.

A local body shop pitched in and helped out A Radford University student after his car was vandalized several times with gay slurs. Next, the act of kindness caught the attention of talk show host Ellen, and the two men made a live appearance on her show.

6. Dead deer inside Chinese restaurant forces closure

Katie Hopkins said she witnessed employees dragging in a trash bin with a dead carcass inside of it. ”But there was like a tail, and a foot and leg. Sticking out of the garbage can and they wheeled it straight back into the kitchen,” said Hopkins.

7. Man tasered after allegedly ramming cop car with covered wagon

Police in Oklahoma arrested a man driving a covered wagon for allegedly ramming into a patrol car. He speaks out in this video. 

8. Lamb of God singer arrested in fan’s death

In June, Randy Blythe, singer for Lamb of God--the world-famous, Richmond-based heavy metal band--was arrested in Prague in connection with the death of a fan two years ago. He has since been indicted on manslaughter charges and faces trial in February. 

9. Former Chesterfield student alleges substitute teacher had sex with him

Just as candidates took off gloves and squared off at the second Presidential debate, a former Cosby High School graduate prepared his own statements, for Twitter. He alleged that a Cosby substitute teacher had engaged in sexual activity with him, while he was a student. The site was all a twitter as the student (who announced he was hammered) began releasing nude photos and alleged text conversations he exchanged with the teacher,who was later charged.

10. Day care abuse caught on tape

A nine-year old boy waits for the daycare teacher to leave, and then abuses two kids at a daycare; then a father shows up and slaps the wrong child.
