Richmond firefighters resuce puppies

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — Firefighters recently saved a litter of puppies from an abandoned building in Richmond.

Richmond Fire Lt. Robbie Hagaman said 11 Engine was called to a building in the 1200 block of N. 33rd Street to help animal control and building code officials remove the pups.

Crews said the building reportedly had little to no crawl space, so the firefighters cut cut through the building’s floor in order to reach the little ones.

The photo was a big hit on the firefighters with the pups posted on the fire department’s Facebook page.
