Hopewell police look for suspect in robbery

HOPEWELL, Va. (WTVR) – Police are investigating a robbery that happened Friday afternoon.

It happened at 12:16 p.m. at the Fast Auto Loans at the 3300 block of Oaklawn Blvd.

Police say the suspect showed a dark colored handgun and demanded money.  A Fast Auto Loans employee gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect then fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a six-foot to six-foot-two black male with a thin build between 20 to 30 years old.  He was seen wearing a dark hoodie, dark blue sweat pants, a blue hat, black shoes with white bottoms, and wore a blue bandana over his face.
