Fatal shooting in Richmond’s southside

RICHMOND, Va (WTVR)- Richmond Police are on the scene of a shooting on Richmond's south side. 

Police were called to the 2400 block of Brady Avenue around 7:17 p.m Wednesday night for a report of shots fired and a man down.

When they arrived, they found an adult black male, in his early 20s, lying on the ground.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The medical examiner will determine the exact cause and manner of death.

Detectives are in the early stages of a death investigation but they don’t believe this was a  random shooting.
