Miracle Of Christmas, Live At The Metro Richmond Zoo is a live rendition of the birth of Christ. The 15 minute pageant features live animals from the Zoo, musical performances from local groups. December 21-23 at 7pm, 7:45 and 8:30pm with a special Spanish Program Sunday, December 23 at 9pm at The Metro Richmond Zoo, 8300 Beaver Bridge Road in Moseley. Performances and parking are free and organizers ask a donation of non-perishable foods for FeedMore. The Richmond Nativity Pageant, one of the oldest public Christmas traditions in Richmond, a live out-door presentation with a cast and choir of more than 200 people. The Pageant is Sunday, December 23, 7pm, at The Carillon in Byrd Park, Larry Robinson will perform a concert of Bells at 6:30, this event is free and open to the public, www.richmondnativity.com or 804-358-8481.

Richmond Ballet The Nutcracker, performances at the Carpenter Theatre at Richmond CenterStage through Sunday, December 23, featuring Russian Bear, giant Mouse King, Chinese Dragon dancers, rabbits and a cast of professional dancers as well dancers from the School of Richmond Ballet and the Ballet’s Education Outreach Program and Minds In Motion.
