RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – It feels like Christmas all over Richmond, even The Executive Mansion is decorated for the Holidays and open to the public. The annual Capitol Tree Lighting is Friday, December 7th, at 5pm at the South Portico of the Virginia State Capitol, this year The Governor and First Lady will pay tribute to Military. following the tree lighting, Mr. and Mrs. McDonnell will host an open house at the Executive Mansion.

Other open houses at the Mansion are December 12 at 11am & 3pm and December 14, 11am and 2pm. No appointments necessary for the open house but appointments are required for the holiday tours, December 5, 6, 11, 13, 18, 19, & 20.
