Faculty, students attend forum over gay VCU volleyball coach’s dismissal

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Virginia Commonwealth University has launched an internal investigation into the firing of the school's women's volleyball coach.

James Finley claims he was let go because he is gay.

The firing has sparked outrage and led to a Thursday afternoon meeting about diversity on campus.
