Richmond and VCU Police investigate off campus robbery

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Both Richmond and VCU Police are investigating a robbery in the Fan district that happened early Sunday morning.

A robbery was reported at 1 a.m. in the 00 block of North Plum Street. Police say three people were approached by two black males after leaving the Belly Timber Bar on West Main Street.  The victims were forced to hand over several items.

Officials say two black males between the heights of 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 were seen wearing all black clothing and red bandanas over their faces.  The two men were last seen driving a black Land Rover toward West Cary Street.
