SHORT PUMP, Va. (WTVR) – Dominion Virginia Power said a fire was to blame for 2,600+ customers losing power Tuesday afternoon.
By 1:30 p.m., all but 60 customers had power restored.

Dominion Virginia Power spokesman Dan Genest said the equipment that caught fire is near American Family Fitness in Short Pump.
An outage map on Dominion’s website indicated the power outage is centered in Short Pump.
