BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ7.com) – Virginia State Police have released a few more details involving a deadly crash on Route 24 in Bedford County.

Police say the driver who died was a 17-year-old girl from Moneta.

Emergency response officials said around 10:00 p.m. Sunday, the driver hit a deer and then went into an embankment. Her car then hit a tree.
