(WTVR) - It's been 10 years since a firefighter in Texas has seen the young boy he helped save.

Now he relives the time that he saved a young child in near freezing temperatures.

Firefighter Wesley Keck can still remember all the details of the day he found and saved a baby boy right outside of his fire station.

A baby carrier covered by a blanket was on the patio outside the station.

Keck says the baby was calm and not even crying.

He still has a picture of the baby, who is now a fourth grader and a brother of five sisters.

For his 10th birthday, the young boy asked his adopted mother if he could go back to the fire station.

The reunion is tomorrow.

"I felt good about the person that left him, they wanted a better life for him. And I hope somehow they see this story and they know the family that adopted him, how much he's loved and wanted."

Keck says he is looking forward to meeting the young boy he helped save.
