RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – The Washington Redskins will refurbish high school football field in Richmond as part of its deal with the city, a team source told CBS 6 reporter Angela Pellerano.

“Yes. Absolutely true,” the source told Pellerano. “But to clarify – there will be selected schools over time. Not all of them and not all at once.”

The agreement, which has yet to be announced, was mentioned in a Tuesday morning email from Richmond lawyer and City Hall observer Paul Goldman.

“I was told it is a done deal, but not yet announced. My source said┬áBruce Allen, the Redskins GM, has signed on,” Goldman wrote in an email sent to Richmond media outlets. “This is good news if true: it suggests some of us have been effective in convincing folks to see the big picture.”
